Meta information is cumulative.
Unlike most object properties in RM Meta information is cumulative.
An object can define a certain set of Meta tags, and each folder in its containmnet hierarchy can add additional name/value pairs to the final Meta block.
Values in parent folders will not overwrite items defined in the object itself, but will add to the final meta block for that object.
This lets you define meta information such as author etc for entire folders while setting specific keyword and description info for each page.
When using the Frontier interface to RM you edit Meta information as a Frontier table.
When using the Web interface to RM meta info is presented as a text field where each meta pair is a name [tab] value line of text.
