This was one of the first major rapids encountered in the 135 fpm stretch. Here the forest clears and the rock slabs drop directly to the river. There was a channel on river left (not visible) but would have been very difficult to maneuver correctly. If I'd have run it, it would have been down the middle of the main drop, almost off a boof rock. This is Chip about to launch in.
