10:36:42 AM This past weekend Rocky and I took on the challenge of kayaking the entire upper Kern in a day. It wasn't particularly hard when you know the river well. We put on the at the Forks put in at 9, and got to the Park in Kernville at 4 (7 hrs). We weren't positive of the exact distance, but it is around 35 miles, and long but fun day.
